Our commitment

BUTENKO ART STUDIO wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We treat accessibility as part of good design.

What we support

• Keyboard access to every link, button and form field, including the case pages and the image viewer: Enter or Space opens an image, Escape closes it.
• Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
• A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
• Respect for the reduced motion setting: the logo, the headline and the scroll animations show their final state, and the Cosmos effects behind the Online button are decorative and carry no information.
• Text colours checked against the AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1.
• Text alternatives for images, with written captions in the case pages.
• Semantic headings, page landmarks and labelled form fields.

Known limitations

The work chapters, the case pages and the image galleries are built with JavaScript. Without it you still get the home page text, our services and the contact details. Some product images contain text; their captions describe what they show.
